Andrew is a founding shareholder in what is now Grimsby Fish Dock Group, with trawler owners attracted by a guarantee scheme that ensured payment for fish sales conducted through Grimsby Fish Market.

Involved in GFVOA since the Eighties, it has now been in existence in its present form for more than 50 years, and has been known under various names since the formation of the Great Grimsby Smack Owners' Association in 1878. It representsowners, operators and fish selling agencies at local and national levels as may be required.

Andrew is the second-generation owner of Jubilee Fishing Company, the company that built the last two Grimsby-registered trawlers, Jubilee Quest and Jubilee Spirit, in 1997 and 2010. The 22m boats sail with six crew and operate in the northern North Sea.
