Danny became a director in 2025, bringing in-depth knowledge from within the business to the boardroom. 

He first went ‘down dock’ in 2008, joining his father as a lumper – hauling the fish boxes around the sales floor - working his way through different elements of the market’s  operations to become the fish market manager. 

His work on several major modernisation projects have ensured the fish market remains a vital hub in the UK seafood supply chain, as well as a highly regarded international sales and logistics centre.
