Nelson Hunter

Sales Director – Grimsby Fish Market 

Nelson brings almost 40 years of fish sales experience to the group, having worked as an auctioneer for various businesses since the late Eighties.

With extensive knowledge of the vital supply chains linking Grimsby with Iceland, Faroe, Ireland, and other key countries, he became sales director in 2019, co-ordinating landings and leading the auction team, while playing an important role in developing traceability and selling systems. 

Married with two sons, Nelson discovered the challenge of triathlon at the age of 48 and has competed in three full distance ironman competitions and various other sporting challenges since turning 50. A lifelong motorcyclist, he and his wife enjoy getting out on their matching Triumph Bonneville 1200s.
