Terri Precious

Training Manager – OTC Grimsby 

Passionate about delivering high-quality, realistic and engaging training experiences, Terri is channelling a decade’s experience in the renewable energy sector and an early career with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service into the role.

Starting out in the industry in warehouse operations, she gained extensive knowledge of the specialist equipment requirements while supporting the mobilisation of major offshore projects. This hands-on foundation led her into the training department, where she qualified as a Global Wind Organisation (GWO) instructor, and she believes the strong operational knowledge and practical expertise gained as a firefighter translated naturally into delivering GWO, First Aid, and Fire Awareness training.

Terri quickly advanced to senior instructor, taking responsibility for course development, maintaining training materials, and leading audits to secure and maintain industry accreditations. 

Joining OTC Grimsby in January 2024, she is committed to maintaining the highest standards, raising the level of knowledge and enthusiasm in the team, and is rightly proud of the industry-specific training assets and the quayside-based professional learning environment that promotes confidence, competence, and safety.
